When it fires

A contact changed to unsubscribed. The subscription name is contact.unsubscribed.

Event fields

Handle this event

Update consent state before sending further email. A contact.updated event is also emitted for this change.

Verify the signature, then use the envelope id to deduplicate retries and replays.
